Speak Truth to Power Public Service Announcements Five one-minute public service announcements that first premiered on Court TV, advocating human rights changes and profiling five leading defenders and their causes were drawn from the SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER project. The defenders celebrated include: Harry Wu on Chinese prisons, Sister Helen Prejean on the death penalty, Dianna Ortiz on torture, Ka Hsaw Wa on global corporate responsibility and Bobby Muller on landmines . The short films were directed and produced by Rory Kennedy with Nan Richardson of Speak Truth to Power, and directed by Liz Mermin, and have won a number of awards, including the presigious Cine Golden Eagle.
